A downloadable game for Windows and Linux

Overboard is my first game using the Godot engine.

It's an arcade game where you control a ship that tries to survive waves of ennemies.


Use the arrow keys to move the ship and space or enter to shoot with your cannon. Holding the shoot button longer makes you shoot with a bigger range.

Compatible with Xbox controller.

Okay, my opinion:

The concept is great, but there's a couple things that make it annoying:

  • The cannonballs are hard to estimate correctly, it's hard to hit stuffThis was because I didn't realize that most enemies need two hits
  • The enemies can spawn outside my screen, because it's not the same size. Be careful about that.
  • You're too weak in the beginning
